Hydrology and Climate Services

Hydrology and Climate Services Division (HCSD) provides program management and support at the regional level for the hydrologic forecast and warning, climate, and observation programs. These programs includes the areas of: river forecasts, flood forecasts and warnings, and water supply forecasts; the proper use and infusion of climate prediction products; and the surface and upper air observations, the cooperative observing network, and ASOS.
