An impressive
winter storm moved onshore into California on Jan 10, 2001. The storm
tracked eastward into the Great Basin, but it's precipitation extended
all the way from San Diego to Sandpoint, ID. These infrared and visible
satellite pictures show the storm at it's peak on 11 January.
