hail in Otis Orchards

This
photo of large hail was taken by Spokane 16, Bob Lutz, in Otis Orchards
on the afternoon of June 10th, 2003 after the passage of a severe thunderstorm.
These ice balls ranged in size from 1 inch to 1 1/2 inches in diameter,
or from quarter size to walnut size. A severe thunderstorm produces
hail of at least 3/4 inch.
